District Budget Hearings and Community Updates

Brighton Crossings Residents,
UPCOMING DISTRICT BOARD MEETINGS

It is time for the annual adoption of the District Budgets. The respective District Boards will hold public hearings to review the proposed 2025 budgets during their Board meetings on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. These budgets have been carefully reviewed by the Boards and are expected to be approved as presented.

The proposed budgets allocate funding for essential District services, including:

  • Amenity operations
  • Landscaping and maintenance
  • Parks and playgrounds
  • Overall District management
  • Finance and accounting services
  • Administration

These proposed budgets reflect necessary adjustments to accommodate a growing community, as well as inflationary increases in the cost of goods and services. Additionally, they take into account the rising costs associated with time, materials, and vendors contracted to perform District services.

Key Updates:

  • The Authority budget will not require any increase in the quarterly Operations Fee, which covers District-wide operations and maintenance.
  • However, there will be increases in the Trash Fee, Courtyard Fee, and Maintenance Fee for residential units receiving on-lot maintenance and enhanced services. The revised 2025 quarterly fees are as follows:
    • Trash Fee: $47.28 per quarter
    • Courtyard Unit Fee: $165.00 per quarter
    • Low Maintenance Duplex Lot Fee: $94.00 per quarter

An Open Floor portion of the meeting will allow members of the public to ask questions related to District matters. We encourage resident attendance and participation.

Meeting Schedule:

  • Districts Nos. 5-8: 4:00 PM
  • District No. 4: 5:00 PM
  • Operations Board: 6:00 PM
